I am so grateful to be invited by Samsung to be one of the guest speakers for this event. Not only because it is a new experience synergizing my field of expertise with a brand like Samsung, but mostly the opportunities to chat, connect and work with individuals during and for the event who are equally passionate in their field of expertise and interests.

*Behind the Scene Story*

The making of this video was like a full production which again I did not expect ha ha... I felt like an actress for a day.

The one thing that impressed me with the final edits is that the Creative and Video Production teams make it so smooth. During the shoot, since there were no scripts I had to come out words on my own and also with inputs from the passionate Copywriter. And of course, I thought that urghh I can do better if I would read from scripts. But actually no need. Be natural. Anywaysss, I love the final piece so much! So pro!

*Most Important*
The marketing and creative team are so so comfortable to work with, very professional, good listeners, passionate, respectful and supportive. Their characters actually made me feel good being there with them over the course of the past 2 months preparing for everything including the final presentations.

Also, we had a good long ketchup after during our late dinner.

My Favourite Pictures of The Day

My favourite pictures of the day. With the muscles behind-the-scenes who I personally enjoyed working with for the last 3 months incld the previous event.

Working with the Marketing and Creative team's Copywriter, Producer, Art Director and Account Manager was one of my favorite highlights. They were so comfortable to work with, very professional, good listeners, passionate, creative, respectful and supportive.

Their characters actually made me feel good to be part of these moments with them and preparing for everything. And I dnt know why the way we all joke around like as if we have known one another for a very long time.

Also my fellow speakers too... they were so passionate, respectful, and very supportive.

Self-Criticism Trait In Your Handwriting And Change It Using Graphotherapy | Graphologist Handwriting Analyst S.Sulianah | Grapholistic International

4/19/2022

How Self-Criticism Traits can developed in our life?

Self-criticism can be developed either by ourselves or when we are brought up in that environment. The environment could be by our parents, siblings, friends you spend time with and anyone you spent your time with. This can also be developed by yourself from the past experiences and if it is self-criticizing, we can say that those are unpleasant and negative experiences which usually are the ones that had made a negative impact to you.

So, are you a person who always criticized yourself?

So, how can you identify self-criticism and whether you are experiencing this? There are signs such as you keep blaming yourself for anything wrong that had happened in your life. Any mistakes or tragedy that had happened which sometimes might not be even related to you but because of external factors but you still put the blame on yourself. Other than that, are the way you speak to yourself. Like “Urgh you are so stupid” “Or you can do better. You should have done better”. The tone of your voice which you used with yourself is negative, the same like how those others speak to you.

How can you eliminate self-criticisms from within you?
How to remove your negative voice so that you will not doubt yourself or dislike yourself?

  1. Firstly, you have to be self-aware that you are doing this to yourself.
  2. Then, you need to learn to respect yourself. Whenever that voice seeps into your thoughts, your mind, you have to change it immediately to something that is inspiring and positive.
  3. Immediately shut off that voice from finishing its sentences and clouding your mind. Visualize it from being cut off from entering the physical brain, from entering your frontal cortex and gradually the nerves of your whole-being. Quickly change your words into the good part of your imagination.
  4. And then whenever you made a mistake, don’t dwell on it. Sometimes we have a tendency to remember moments that were embarrassing, or like Damn I shouldn’t say that. I would too like then I will say Fuck shit. But then what you have to do is to say to yourself, “Ah… I don’t think they even remember that moment. Forget about it.” You will be surprised on how this will work well and you will eventually forget about those unnecessary memories.
  5. And remember not to let others include you in their self-criticizing. I used to have a friend who did this. During conversations with our friends when she would like to talk about her own body size, she will mention me and her. So, in response to that, usually I will ignored her remarks. Whenever I don’t find worth it to argue and waste my time with ignorance, I will rather not talk about it in front of the person especially if I observed that it is not worth it. However, eventually, ten years later, I was in my clearer mind and brave enough to distanced myself from her and listen to my instinct to avoid similar individuals who keeps bringing me down.

Handwriting Traits that indicates Self-Criticisms

One of the handwriting trait that signifies self-criticizing is a sharp stroke of your t-bar. Check your small letter-t. The horizontal stroke is called the t-bar. If you write from right to left and the bar is sharp like a dagger, that is one of the self-criticizing handwriting traits. Usually, it will be written from right to left and is sharp.

And another handwriting traits is the i-dot. When you write your small letters I, the dot is not round. It is slashed and downward direction which is written from top to down instead of just the usual dot.

The other handwriting trait would be your signature. Individuals who has the tendency or habit of criticizing themselves will strike-off the signature, even if it is a small part of the signature.

How to change your self-criticisms traits using the Graphotherapy technique?

Firstly, for your letter t-bar.
Write the opposite of it. Write from left to right for the t-bar strokes. Or if you are comfortable with writing from right to left, mellow down on the sharp dagger like stroke.

Secondly, as for the i-dot, just dot your letter i. That is why it is called i-dot. Mellow it down by jotting a dot instead of aiming downwards towards yourself.

Lastly, as for the signature, remove the strike line. If you would like to underline, write it below your signature. Do not touch the signature. That is it.

Practice these whenever you have the chance to write. While writing, remember to change your mindset and psycho your mind by telling yourself that you can improve on not being hard to yourself and not criticizing anything that you do. If it is unpleasant or you make a mistake, just change the way you do things so you will not make the same error again and then let it go. Keep in mind that anything is possible, if you want to change like you want to you will change.

Traits that Could Lower Your Self-Esteem | Using Handwriting Analysis and Graphotherapy | S.Sulianah | Grapholistic International

4/12/2022

This article is an excerpt from the new episode 11 from Grapholistic Podcast written by S.Sulianah. The pod all about handwritings and characters analysis. I am your podcaster, S.Sulianah. I am also the founder and the Graphologist for Grapholistic International. Grapholistic International is a company which I had started since 2005 focusing on personality development and handwritings and characters analysis.

In episode 1, I promised that Phase 5 which is the self-defence episode will be aired in episode 9. However, I made a lot of changes and decided to revamp my podcast structure to make it more detailed for you to follow through. So, now we are at episode 12 which I would like to share more details on the traits that could lower your self-esteem first just so you can avoid it during the course of building the foundation of your personality.

In this episode, I will then share with you how to learn more about yourself and the level of your self-esteem using the science of handwriting analysis. Just for your info, another term for studying the science of handwritings is called graphology. I will also share with you how you can identify and change your handwriting with a technique called Graphotherapy in order to improve your personality.

The Graphotherapy technique is a method that I have used to build my personal self-esteem and confidence. And so far over the course of 20 to 27 years I have used it, it is molding into who I am today.

These are the traits which I found out that had affected my self-esteem during the time when I was in my teenage years.

The traits that directly and also indirectly could bring your self-confidence down. The traits that could impact the way you speak to people, and most importantly to yourself. These are some of the significant traits which could lower your self-esteem.

  1. Self-critical
  2. Fickle mindedness
  3. Timidity
  4. Low self-confidence
  5. Sarcastic
  6. Sensitive to criticisms
  7. Not being trustworthy
  8. Comparing with others
  9. Too concern of what others think about you
  10. Spending your time with the wrong people
  11. Allowing others to disrespect you

Even at moments when you have set your goals, change bad habits, developing your skills and successfully achieving those goals, if these traits are still present in you and you let it grow with you, it will make your life uncomfortable, you will end up not being grateful with your accomplishments, and eventually will cause distress and lower your self-confidence. The goals you set and the life you have to live on should not be causing you stress or pain. It should motivate you to live your life and be happy with yourself.

You will wonder why do people still don’t feel happy when they have everything? Sometimes they will feel like everything are not enough when they have more than enough, when they have everything that they ever wanted. So, why? Because all these traits are still embedded in their personality. If you experienced this issue with yourself which is you will constantly criticize yourself, then you have to learn how to stop doing that.

Then you may ask now how can you stop doing that? How can you manage or eliminate these traits from your personality?

In the upcoming episodes, I will share with you how to improve these traits using the Graphotherapy technique. And if you are interested to know how to first know whether it is present on your handwriting and how to then eliminate or reduce these traits by changing your handwriting, continue to listen to the next episode.

Do You Feel Stuck in Your Life Right Now? | By S.Sulianah | Grapholistic International

1/18/2022

Have you ever experienced a moment or maybe moments in your life that you feel stuck? You may have everything which you have dreamed of since you were fifteen and then two decades later you have attained most of your goals gradually throughout the years. Then, you start to ask yourself what are the reasons in the first place you are here in this world when you have everything right now. You have the house of your dreams. Cars of your dreams. Qualifications and certifications as you had seek since you were fifteen. Traveled around the world. But still, you asked yourself what actually is your purpose in life, in this world. Are these the only journey that I need to pursue? Or should I do something else? You continuously kept aiming higher. Can say that you are happy with yourself and your achievements. You appreciated everything you had attained.  So, what else? Should you set these on repeat until you are 80?

I kept asking myself this over and over again in the recent 3 to 4 years. Frankly, yes I am grateful that every time I have this question in mind, my social media timeline, feeds and #fyp will be filled with motivations from other individuals around the world with similar questions that they asked themselves and also they came up with words of wisdom to keep moving forward. There are people who discussed about the quantum possibilities in life. The unlimited and infinite. Also there are those who focused on the 'Now', appreciating and going through life in the moment to avoid anxiety and worries of the future. Those who suggested to keep moving on and do something else other than the usual and so on...

After watching those, I realised that those experiences each and every individuals had shared fit my life in practical when I integrate those perspectives and motivations for a better balance. And usually I will continuously open myself to any changes in the way I think, and how my thoughts and my thinking process impacted the way I feel and also any actions I will be taking.

Every time I feel like I am stuck, I will look into what I had foresee myself to be in the next 5 to 10 years. And for me, I had to imagine materials gaining to be part of my goals just so I do not feel bored. In fact, recently I have no shame to think of my life with only me sitting in the house of my dreams and merely write my books, articles, scripts, recording my podcasts and videos and not to worry about anything else including money and all. Well, I can say I am already doing those now but I decided to allow myself to think larger than this.

When I was a teen, I used to have an imagination that I will build my own house but over the years I feel like that dream is so temporary meaning owning a house. When I got to achieve my other dreams, I realized that I do not actually need a huge place. Actually if this world is safe, I do not mind staying anywhere but well let that thoughts be reserved for the afterlife. But since recently I have everything I had wanted (both the material aspect and humane contributions), I am kind of bored so I decided to venture my mind to think into attaining something larger than the usual goals I had for myself. I feel like everything is possible. When I said feel, it means that I think and my mind is telling me that. So, when I managed to attain those, I will share with you the journey and achievements. Basically, these new thoughts are the ones that let me move on and keep moving forward to continue and strive for new goals. Well, just by changing that it makes a lot of difference in inspiring myself to go on everyday.

Whenever you feel stuck, test something different for your life. Do something different everyday. Think something else other than what you are used to. And while you are doing that, remind yourself to still enjoy the moments you are living right now. Be honest to yourself. It is okay that you want to stay contented, not filled with worries about our future and if money is a thing 'no money no talk' acknowledge that.

IDENTIFY FROM YOUR HANDWRITING

As for the feelings of being stuck, one of the most obvious signs on your handwriting is the baseline. Observe the directions of the baselines of your main text and signature. Baselines descending in which the directions is downwards when you are writing from left to right, or if you write from right to left will be the same.
Picture
Handwriting with Descending Baseline | Copyright of Grapholistic International
Baseline is the base of your sentences. If it is descending, high chances is that you are undergoing moments of dejection, disappointments, sorrow, upset, sadness and possibilities of depression. Usually I do not diagnose any disorders like depression in my consultation sessions and graphology reports, but there are traits (not only baselines) that could help to recognise whether there are any consistencies in your thinking process. I have written an article on handwritings baselines and negative emotions if you need to know more about this topic.

CASE STUDY Rational and Dependent Decision-Making Styles | Project Manager | Human Behavior and Handwriting Analysis | HR and Management Series Book by S.Sulianah

11/22/2021

The following case study is an extract from my soon to be published book under the HR and Management Series. I am starting with the case study of one of the Project Managers whom I used to worked with for 13 years. I decided to choose this first is because of its significance in the thread for the other case studies. Other than that, it will be a comprehensive story with evidence from the long-term study in a business organisation setting. In this book and its case studies, the areas that I focused on are mainly on human behavior and how  a personal trait could influence the individual’s decision-making, thinking pattern, observation, communication with colleagues, perceptions, the way they speak, the way the think, outlook towards their personal goals and their credibility in a business setting. In addition to that, I had also used the science of handwriting analysis to study their characters, behaviors and possible cause and effect, if any, during the course of my observations.

CASE STUDY

PROFILE:
Project Manager (Not real name: Lewis)
Over 30 years of work experiences
In his mid-50s

ABOUT THE PROJECT MANAGER, LEWIS
The first case study is of one of the most senior project managers in the company, Lewis. Lewis have been working in the engineering field for over 30 years with experiences as an engineer and as of this present day, a project manager.

EXPRESSING FEELINGS AND THOUGHTS (i.e. Ideas, opinions, feedback)
The first few instances that I had noticed about his character is he is not the type who will say it out loud about his concerns such as what he is feeling or thinking toward others or situations unless I start talking about it and eventually when asked for his opinions. It is one of the good points in a relationship with co-workers or with anyone as you can expect that he can be trusted and will not share information to others. Which means when I tell him to ‘Keep this information to yourself because I do not trust others’, he will keep it to himself.

There are no handwriting traits that shows he is of a secretive nature. However, it is observed that his letters O are mainly closed and so, it is more likely that he will not share the information I had shared with him to others compared to if a person writes it with an open O.

Picture
Year 2007/2008
There are traits of cautiousness shown on his left slanted handwriting even though the base of his writing is fixated on the ground pulling towards the right. Lewis has the desire to move one step ahead but usually will take another step backward to be careful with the things he says. He rather kept it to himself than to define his thoughts to the person he is talking to.

Since his opinions are well-kept and will only share with me when asked, I noticed it is quite difficult to understand what he thinks based on his expressions. However, the only areas I could analyse were based on the volume and the tone of his excitement, or disappointment. He will only be more inclined to share his feelings about something when I tell him my own personal story that might be related to the matter.

Another trait which I noticed is his positive expectation towards a thing that might not be necessary for me which by nature I will not do it anyway because I do not feel like wasting my time to do something which I do not deemed required. However, his attitude towards it is more “Yes, can! Why cannot??!” even though the matter is not even possible to do it that way. The handwriting trait visible signifying this is the all-capitals throughout his handwriting. On the other hand, even though ascending baselines are associated with someone with a positive mindset or more precise, optimism, his baseline mostly varies in ascending and declining, and eventually descending towards the end.

He does trusts others easily and could not see it in another angle. So, he will believe others and tell what is in his mind or the things people told him about without probably giving it a second thought just because he had known them for years. There was an incident that at first I thought I should not have told him but I am glad now looking back that my instinct was right, to tell him. About 8 years to our work relationship, during one of our conversations, I told him to be careful with whatever he shared with a certain colleague of ours. I decided to tell this because of the situations I had observed at every different angle — what our boss knows and told me, what other employees were chatting about him and the projects he was managing, what this colleague of ours told me and also based on my years of observing, understanding and analyzing each and everyone’s style of working and communicating with one another. Even though I am not the type who will usually do this but because I noticed that this Project Manager of ours seemed to be too gullible and trust everyone, I decided to advise him to just be careful with whatever he shares in the work site with employees. Especially anything to do with his conversation with the boss. Because apparently some works were shared around when it is supposed to be kept between them. Other than that, there was a few times our boss told me about what he found out from that colleague of ours about Lewis which I knew is a one-sided perspective and assumption. I was more assured of this when that colleague of ours were saying things behind his back and also to other employees in a not friendly tone. So, when Lewis found out the reason why I had advised to him which I usually don't, he was surprised. Because all this while he trusted this colleague and he really looked shocked with what happened. Their friendship actually had became more personal with him lending money to this guy and also being involved here and there with this guy’s relationship with his girlfriend during that time. And that is why he did not expect that this guy will talk behind his back.

AGREEABLE TRAITS
Another trait that I observed from his demeanour is his tendency to agree to something that might not be feasible. I assumed probably is because that he is worried that it will affect his position or what others will think about him. He used to argue back to our boss and even to colleagues including me. But that changes over time. Based on my observations, this behaviour might have changed because of the changes in the work environment. The boss’ attitude and unfairness towards individuals at some points were emerging when we were both at our tenth year in the company. What I noticed is that this Project Manager tend to agree without arguments like he used to. The present handwriting that supported this are the closed spaces between letters. The spaces are closer than the ones he wrote ten years ago. This handwriting trait signifies the desire to be associated with people around him and forge a relationship. He prefers attachments with individuals.

DECISION-MAKING STYLE
They said that he could not make decisions properly and not professionally. They here refers to most of the co-workers. I believed there are still bias perspectives here. Firstly, there probably were envy. Secondly, people do not look at their own weaknesses but see it clearly in others. I have worked with each and everyone of them, and I will rather choose this Project Manager to handle the company’s projects completely than 90% of the staff who were complaining about him. Thirdly, remember that colleague I told my Project Manager to be careful with. I can confidently say that he is involved in telling the other co-workers about the unpleasant opinions he had about this Project Manager. I am very sure because I noticed it happened right in front of me and also not only to him but to me, my boss, and another Project Manager. There is this tinge of emotions that he can influenced others which will embed in the mind of those he talked to. Personally, I nearly fall into that hole, but I quickly let myself out and stay away. The fourth point is they could be comparing this project manager with themselves. So as humans with different mindset which I can safely say that most of them are having more of a fixed mindset than a growth mindset, they feel that they can perform better than this project manager.

My analysis is that this Project Manager could make his own decisions, but he feel restricted because he is reporting to a boss who in reality does not really support decisions that are made not only by this project manager. Even when the boss might give a green light at first, eventually he will change his mind in front of the other team members which will give an impression that this Project Manager is not a professional and hence not a reliable manager. His colleagues feel like he couldn’t make the decision immediately and the title does not fit him which did really happened at the work sites.

This character will then show another trait which is him as someone who is not flexible when making decisions. Because for him inflexibility is equivalent to fickle mindedness which is not a good sign and is associated with not reliable. This trait can be seen from his all-capital letters handwriting. And also, the consistent straight left margins. Once he planned and made a decision,
he will not change his mind.

One day, I asked him why is he writing his texts in capital letters? He said that if he writes it in cursive (which he showed me during that conversation how it looks like), he is worried that the person who is reading his reports will make a mistake. Writing with capital letters will avoid readings errors. Reading errors are common in the field he is working in. It is not impossible that a reading from an instrument can be misread because it is indecipherable to the person reading it. Reading errors could affect the entire analysis of the project.

Other than that, Lewis' decides mostly based on logic and also after he contemplates on the subject for quite some time. But surely, his decisions are not based on his emotions and moods at that time. That is why most of the time when I need to ask his opinions about matters related to policy that could be improved or his perspectives of employees’ performances, I will rather ask him. As from the perspectives of his team members who had spoken to me about their opinions, for them it seems like he takes time to decide and sometimes he could not tell them immediately what they need to do in the projects. Simply, it is because from his position, he has to look into those matters at every angle and he could not afford to make any mistake for anything under his watch.

The indisputable fact about the way he thinks is that he will share his opinions and views from the logical perspectives and not influenced by his personal feelings towards the person. Mostly too this will be consistent if I asked him again on the same subject on another time just to see whether he changes his mind. This is in contrast with another Project Manager whose case study I will write in the next article. The second Project Manager will have different opinions when asked at different time so it depends on how he feels instead of in reality what could be the reasons to his opinions of the person or situations.

The handwriting trait that can be observed from Lewis related to logical way of thinking and hence when making decisions can be observed from his upright slants (70% on his handwriting), and the left slants (30% of his handwriting).

With reference to a study done on decision-making styles by El Othman, R., El Othman, R., Hallit, R. et al., Lewis follows a more rational decision-making and at times dependent. These two styles have similarities in a way that they both are of high agreeableness and high conscientiousness. The characters that were associated with agreeableness according to this study are cooperation, morality, sympathy, low self-confidence, high level of trust in others, and happy and satisfied with close inter-relationships. As for the characters associated with conscientious are competence, hard work, self-discipline, organization, strive for achievement, goal orientation, capable of analyzing pros & cons and high level of deliberation.

During the period I was working in the company as a HR and Operational Manager, another factor I respected about this Project Manager’s work attitude is the way he follows the system. Even though we created new systems and yet to test whether it might work or maybe not in our company, he is open to new changes and will try it out. He is very consistent when he follows it. I can say in the company, he is the only Project Manager and employee who will follow each and every steps of the processes. He will also try first before saying that it did not or will not work. So, as someone who is managing the entire process in the company, this character is a plus point for an employee. And I believed this trait is also another factor that will not make him entertained any of his team members’ complacent behavior. This is evident as shown by the straight left margin of his handwriting.

Signature Handwriting Analysis
The only aspect that I think he might oversee about himself is that with his reliability, his experiences, and his attitude towards his work, he could actually go far in his career as an engineer and project manager. It doesn’t matter whether what his age is. He should not feel that his age or work status in the country put a standstill to his desire to move forward and look for better opportunities. The one trait that I had suggested him to improve on his handwriting four years ago was his signature. It is the way he strikes off his signature, which might not be an obvious strike-off in the first glance. Striking-off signature signifies eliminating off oneself from the presence. I noticed individuals with strike-off signatures are usually self-distrustful, self-doubting, and do self-criticize. And if it is with smaller signature or ending last stroke to the left, usually they will portray themselves as timid, complacent, or unable to move on. As for this Project Manager, his signature size shows boldness but it is more on how he showed his confidence to the public, but probably not himself. There is tints of reluctance to move forward as shown on the strokes of his signature maintained on the specific area and not moving forward.

How to Identify Depression, Sadness, Disappointment and Negative Emotions from Your Handwriting | S.Sulianah | Grapholistic International

9/22/2021

It might not be easy to tell people about how you feel when you are disappointed, upset or sad about a situation you are experiencing because sometimes you feel like you could not trust them enough to share about how you feel. Or it is not easy for you to express your feelings into words.

Then, you ended up keeping it to yourself. Yes, sometimes it works but at times it might not.

By keeping your feelings to yourself, you might feel constricted, then you tend to question your capabilities, and not believing in yourself. Feelings of paranoid will emerge.

These feelings of sorrow can be caused by any factors that you are experiencing such as loss of someone, holding on to your past, worrying about your future, disappointed because of failures, things that did not turn out as you have imagined. You then tend to loss interest with yourself and anything that you are doing.

Take note that this video is not to diagnose any psychological conditions related to depression or emotional conditions. This is merely to help you learn to be self-aware of your emotions, and character at the moment.

By looking into analyzing your handwriting, this is one of the ways for you to more insights about yourself and observe whether you are really experiencing the moments of hopelessness or negative emotions.

1. Descending Baseline on Your Handwriting

Descending Baseline - Grapholistic International

Firstly, check the baseline of your handwriting.

Place your ruler on the baseline. Take the first 2 or 3 lines, the middle and the ending part of your essay.

Where is the baseline direction heading towards?

If you are experiencing a negative emotion such as disappointments, upset, wanting to give up, lose interest in yourselves and life, the baseline you will see will tend to descend or vary up and down inconsistently.

2. Ascending Baseline Above 10°

Ascending Baseline Above 10 Degree - Grapholistic International

However, on the other hand, if your baseline is ascending above 10 degrees, with other supporting traits such as being too sensitive, nervousness, tiredness, this could mean that you are experiencing that sorrow and gloomy emotions but is trying to fight against it.

3. Striking-off Your Signature

The third trait to observe is your signature. If you strike-off your signature, it signifies the possibility of you disliking yourself and not having the spirit to explore life.

4. Descending Baseline Signature

Then, the next trait you can check is your signature’s baseline.

Most of the time, signature’s baseline usually match with your main text. As we have learnt in earlier video, main text is the part where you write your essay.

So, if your signature matches your main text with the baseline descending, it means that it is consistent that you feel the same – the feelings of dejection, low level of energy, fatigue even when you are socializing. That is the same as how you are portraying yourself to others.

5. t-Bar Low in the Middle Zone

Low t-bar - Grapholistic International
Low t-bar - Grapholistic International
The last handwriting trait is where you placed your t-bar on your t-stem. When you placed it low on the middle zone, that is a sign of low goals, and low perception of yourself.

If you are not having a positive impression about your achievements and what you can or cannot do, you will end up not being happy towards yourself, your life and the environment surrounding you. Then this depressive outlook towards your life will develop gradually over the years.
Remember that even though you have these traits, it doesn’t mean they are in a depressive phase.

You have to also make sure what is your writing position, the rhythm of your handwriting, pressure, other strokes and whether your handwriting is consistent with all those traits every time you write. If it is same, then it can be seen as embedded in your personality. However, if not, highest possibilities are that you are only having that emotion at that moment.

If you are feeling less motivated and can be observed in your handwriting, ask yourself questions on why, what could be the caused of it and see if you can find ways to make sure you can improve and change that specific trait.

Check out on Graphotherapy from our website on how you can reduce this through changing the strokes in your handwriting.

Meanwhile, please do not diagnose yourself as having depression without learning about yourself more in-depth. And if ever you need help to talk to someone, get help from certified professionals who can assist you to overcome your depression.

How to Spot a Confident Job Interview Candidate from their Handwriting? | Corporate Personnel Selection for HR and Recruiters | Graphology | Grapholistic International
You are searching for someone to fill up the job position in your company.

This person has to be confident in speaking up when he needs to, not only to the colleagues he will be working with in the team, but also to your clients. He has to be confident to make decisions without worrying about how he is intimidated by the presence of your clients or even his colleagues. He has to have the confidence to represent your company.

So now, you have to select The One out of the 15 applicants you have interviewed over the last couple of weeks. You are trying to learn their genuine character beneath the ones they portrayed to you during the interviews.

How to identify out of these candidates, who is the one with confidence from their handwritings?

1. Check the Letter t-bar

First, check the letter t-bar. Where is it placed on the t-stem? If he placed it below the middle zone, the candidate is expected to set low goals and is not confident to have a long-term vision for himself. This trait also shows the level of his self-esteem.

He will have doubts on his own capabilities and will feel like he does not have the desire and self-encouragement to push himself back up again when he is facing with challenges or failures.

While for the candidate with the higher placed t-bar on the upper zone, like this, he will be more confident about his talents and what he can do. Which means he will be self-assured when he is with your clients and his colleagues.

2. Size of Signature

The second step is to observe the size of his signature and his main text. His main text refers to the paragraphs of the essay he has written.

If his signature is smaller than the main text, he is more inclined to be less confident from the one who writes with a larger signature. Not only that, he feels intimidated and inferior compared to those around him. Usually this will be obvious from the eye of the beholder.

A more confident person can be seen from his larger signature which is larger than the main text of his essay, bold and optimistic signature.

3. Placement of Signature

Then, the next trait you can check is where he placed his signature on the paper. Is it on the left or the right side of the paper?

If it is on the left, he will tend to avoid introducing himself to your clients, for instance at a company event. So, if this position is related to marketing, sales, PR, or similar to these, the other applicant who signs on the right side of the paper will be more inclined and comfortable to present himself to your clients without you, the employer, by his side.

4. Pressure of Signature

Since we are looking at your candidate’s signature, let us look at the fourth point. The pressure of his signature. Is it heavy or is it light?

Hold that paper in between your fingers. Feel the back of the paper. If you can feel the texture of the words written through the piece, then the pressure is heavy. So, if the pressure is heavy, he is the type of person who will be confident when he makes decision. He will take that risk to decide whatever the outcome will be.

As for the candidate who signs in a lighter pressure, he will not be comfortable in social settings. He will tend to force himself to be there when in reality he doesn’t want to. When he feels that way, he will not feel like himself hence, this will be reflected in his behaviour, the way he speaks and his energy when he presents himself to your clients and even to his colleagues.
